I was in New York to shoot the Double-Dutch Championship at the Apollo,
and spent another week with a friend in Brooklyn. Stephanie lent me
her little Panasonic PV-GS120, a 3-CCD miniDV camera with firewire
in/out. Once I'd figured out its quirks I had a lot of fun with
it. It fits in a pocket, so it's great for fortuitous and candid
work.
