Dep

A short film shot on the Panasonic DVX100 at 24p advanced with an anamorphic adaptor and cinematic gamma.  I lit the interiors very quickly with one or two Kinos and a diffused 650 Fresnel for the corridor in the second shot.  Lots of fun keeping the lights out of Eric's glasses.  Outside we had one bounce card, no time to silk.

We also had no car rig of any kind nor time to invent one, so those shots are hand-held.  For the passenger side I have the camera upside down at arm's length, which makes framing quite a trick.  The bicycles were shot by the simple, if not particularly safe expedient of hanging out the back of a Tahoe and holding the camera an inch above the pavement at 25mph.

A lot of underexposing by one or even two stops to protect the highlights, bringing the midtones back up in post.
