Providence visit 11/17-11/19
I will be back in Providence for a job Thursday through Saturday. Hope to see at least some of my Providence cast and crew during that interval, but time will be short.
This will be my first opportunity to capture footage from the JVC. We will capture straight out of the camera into Ed's computer, using a 250GB hard drive Anna is lending me for postproduction. Not sure how much I'll be able to capture, we shot ten hours of tape, and capturing happens in real time. The first real look will happen when I get back down to North Carolina on Monday. Then I can finally start to post some frame grabs.
I've been quiet here for a while, ostensibly recovering, but in fact I've shot two projects since Intermission. I did a quick short with my nephew as soon as I got back. Then last Sunday I was assistant camera and B camera operator on a music video for Sam Fisher, DP'd by Drew Buchanan. This Saturday I'll be shooting a commercial with Ed Cattucci in Providence, then on Sunday I'll be down in Richmond to shoot the rest of the music video. The next day I meet with a band to talk about another music video, the following weekend we hope to shoot a short authored by Jeremy Pinkham and Alex Wilson. And after that, we will have the Carolina shoot of Intermission.
